Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Business Development Executive capable of locating and cultivating new business opportunities at the executive level within large corporate organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify viable new business targets from within defined industry sectors and target companies
- Open doors via substantial cold-calling and networking efforts
- Establish an effective communication channel with potential clients
- Evaluate specific potential client needs and coordinate the preparation of compelling and highly tailored pitches
- Set up and participate in capabilities presentations
- Participate in proposal development and guide the full sales process
- Coordinate with account / project managers to ensure client needs are met through the entire project lifecycle and beyond
- Maintain and grow healthy and productive long-term relationships with clients
Requirements
- Experience with selling medium and large-scale projects in agency settings (interactive/digital agency, ad agency, etc.)
- Understanding of current Web technologies, and the ability to communicate effectively with technically sophisticated clients
- Experience selling to marketing and digital media executives (generally at VP level or above)
- Highly effective phone communication and cold calling skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Experience with large, highly recognizable brands in the entertainment, sports, consumer electronics, consumer products, media, and or publishing sectors a major plus.
