If we choose to give awards for the best client of the year… we without question would have to give the award to Bay Area Solar. They came to SVM to create a new corporate website and what happened after the initial meeting is still a little blurry for many of us. Somewhere between the first meeting and the presentation of our comps we got a little carried away with what was supposed to be a relatively simple corporate Flash website. Inspired by what Bay Area Solar was doing, the research about the industry, and the effects of going green, our presentation by all accounts could have been perceived as a little out there. Luckily for SVM, the owners of Bay Area Solar loved the concept. They got the imaginary 2009 client of the year award, an awesome flash site supported by our PURL CMS and our anticipation for someone to strip them of their crown of best client ever!
